Privacy Policy

The short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no third-party trackers and has no advertising. Your visit is recorded in my own web server's log — like most servers — and that's it. I keep those logs for 30 days, then they're gone.
01Who is responsible
This website (kemzzytech.cv) is run by Ekeminiabasi Udongwo ("I", "me"), an independent engineer based in Uyo, Nigeria. For anything in this policy: ekemini.udongwo11@gmail.com.
02What is collected

03Cookies and tracking
- No cookies are set by this site.
- No third-party analytics or advertising scripts — no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no tracking SDKs.
- Statistics are produced by self-hosted software on my own server reading my own server logs. Nothing about your visit is sent to an outside analytics company.
- IP-to-country lookups are done locally, using a database file on the server. Your IP is never sent to a geolocation service.
04The contact form
The form on the home page doesn't submit anything to my server. When you press "Send message", your own device opens an email with the fields filled in — the message travels from your email account to mine, nothing is stored on this website. The "WhatsApp instead" button likewise opens WhatsApp on your device; that conversation is handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under their own privacy terms.
05Legal basis and your rights
I process the limited data above because I have a legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and understanding aggregate traffic, and because you asked me to when you contact me.
- You can ask what data I hold about you, and ask me to delete it.
- Server logs are deleted automatically after 30 days regardless.
- Because the site sets no cookies and runs no trackers, there is nothing to opt out of on the site itself.

06Who else may see it
- My hosting provider (the VPS this site runs on) and the domain/DNS provider — they host the infrastructure, and may technically process data as part of that.
- Google Search Console — shows me which search queries led people to the site, in aggregate. That data is Google's, under Google's terms.
- No one else. I don't sell, rent or share data, and there are no advertisers involved.
07Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to the server is restricted, and administrative accounts use key-based authentication. No system is perfect, so I limit what's collected in the first place — you can't lose what was never stored.
08Children
This site isn't directed at children, and I don't knowingly collect information from them.
09Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be reflected on this page — there's no mailing list to notify.
